WIN a Signed Paperback Copy of Protection or Something Different

Tis the season, and Father Christmas stopped by early with presents for me–beautiful new paperback editions of Protection and Something Different. I’d love to give one of each away to readers, and also get a list of great m/m romances to read in 2013. So to enter to win, please go to the comments section and do the following:

1. List the title and author of a GREAT m/m romance you think I might enjoy. (Not one of mine, of course.)

2. Identify yourself with an email address so I can contact you if you win (I will not save or reuse the address).  OR leave your first name and check back here on 12/17 to see if you’ve won, in which case I’ll ask you to email me at therealtbaggins@gmail.com.

Winners will be chosen by random.org.

  1. My favorite m/m read from 2012 was The Island by Lisa Henry. So good and so emotional. I only wish I could get it in paperback for my keeper shelf. I plan to follow this thread so I get other reading ideas! smiles…

Afflicted by Brandon Shire was a great one. Afflicted II came out too but I haven’t read that one yet.

  3. Thanks for the suggestion. BTW, I saw a review of Afflicted II that was very positive … just yesterday, I think…

What to pick, what to pick…

I loved “A Younger Man” by Cameron Dane. I thoroughly recommend the “Life Lessons” series and “The Rebuilding Year” by Kaje Harper.

  5. I will second Kaje Harper as a recommend, I really enjoyed her werewolf series beginning with Unacceptable Risk.
    ;P

I recommend Homo Action Love Story! A Tall Tale by Ben Monopoli. Unique as all get out, a delight! I have ten other suggestions…

My latest obsession is the Will and Sonny storyline from Days of Our Lives. I started reading the first few chapters of Code Red and this is now on my wish list.

  8. Verena

My obsession is the Cut and Run series by Abigail Roux. I love these books sooooo much and have re-read them countless times. Stories about FBI agents are my favorite.

  9. I have two suggestions: Trails of Love I Crawl and Trails of Love I Crawl Part 2, both by Ciaran Dwynvil. Both are absolutely fantastic reads with characters that will steal your heart. Once you start reading, you won’t be able to put it down, and you’ll be glad that the second book is already published. Happy reading!

  10. I’ve heard great things about that series.

  11. Interesting, not familiar with that…

  12. Oh, I’ll have to look that one up…

  13. I’ve been meaning to read Kaje Harper’s work for AGES.

  14. Heard great things about all of those…

  15. Wow, how did I fail to hear about that one?

A book that I absolutely loved was actually a free story called The Rest of Forever by Kate Aaron… I can’t say enough how much I recommend it!

  17. Thanks! And yes, the buzz on How to Repair a Mechanical Heart is *very* impressive.

  18. I have that one in my Kindle already and I absolutely must read it soon.

  19. Sofia Kinney

I loved “The Nothingness of Ben”, by Brad Boney. Made me laugh, made me horny and also made me cry. But it’s not a sad story; HEA.
Also “Timing” and, the sequel, “After the sunset”, by Mary Calmes (hot cowboy stuff… rough sex… js…) ;-)

  20. The Nothingness of Ben is everywhere! I need to give it a try for sure.
